12 Feb 2010 — In response to user requests, a new "Flag for deletion" option has been introduced for lower-level log-in types. This signals to an Account Holder that a survey can be deleted from the system.
As the only log-ins capable of deleting surveys or user log-ins is the top-level Account Holder log-in, many lower level users have told us they get frustrated about not being able to easily communicate that they want a survey deleted. So to make this process simpler, we've introduced a new "Flag for deletion" option in the drop-down list available for surveys - whether in production or published. Simply select the option and press Go - as shown below.

If any surveys shown in your workspace have been flagged for deletion, a new folder will appear in the Status View (as shown below). Here you will see all the surveys you have flagged for deletion. Account Holders will also see this folder, and can then check to ensure that no important data is attached, before deleting the survey or surveys.

The "Flag for deletion" option is available to all log-ins below Account Holder except Clients. So if you're a Full User, Creator or Colleague, check out this new feature soon.

2 Feb 2010 — Small and medium sized agencies are increasingly turning to Demographix for their online survey requirements because of the quality support and hand-holding we’re prepared to give them.
Among the companies we have been working with recently are De Vere Media (DVM), a Hampshire-based PR, promotion and communication specialists who are increasingly using research to give them a competitive edge.
Last year, a Demographix survey was the centrepiece of a campaign DVM created to promote the launch of a free title for women, Stylist magazine, by Short List Media.
The Work Goddess survey generated significant PR-worthy data that DVM used to fuel a successful brand recognition campaign for Stylist magazine in the national press. Coverage of findings from the survey included high-profile pieces in the Daily Mail, Daily Express and the Daily Telegraph.
DVM also used the survey for targeted coverage on television (GMTV) and radio (Sky News and BBC) aimed at the demographic sought by the client.
“Clients who want to stay in control and be seen as the originators of their own surveys and subsequently benefit from the media coverage need companies like Demographix and DVM who put the client first,” said Paul De Vere.
There are so many aspects of online research that SME research firms can need help with – from survey building to data analysis, emailing and panel management. At Demographix we know that they really need someone who’s going to respond quickly to their issues as they arise.
While there are quite a few systems out there of the cheap and cheerful kind, they’re precisely the ones who are going to let down small research companies when they need some hand-holding and advice to get a good outcome for their clients.
